Khuzwayo shares his knowledge

Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Brilliant Khuzwayo is using the off-season to share his experiences with aspiring goalkeepers in Stanger, KwaZulu-Natal. The 24-year-old former youth international is part of one of deepest goalkeeping departments in the PSL, alongside Bafana Bafana number one Itumeleng Khune and young Reyaad Pieterse. He expressed his enthusiasm following a session where he imparted some of his knowledge with a host of youngsters from the region and surrounding areas. "I did this (clinic) because of a dream to plough back," Khuzwayo told his club's official website. "I have been in this stage before, where I wished to be a professional goalkeeper. "Learning the basics at an early age is key to success for a goalkeeper. I have been trained by the best and played alongside the best at Chiefs and I want to share my knowledge with the youngsters. "I was privileged to be trained by the acclaimed goalkeeper coach, German-born Rainer Dinkelacker and I am playing alongside South Africa's No 1 goalie Itumeleng Khune and Reyaad Pieterse. I am glad that the guys came in their numbers and appreciated my input." The Amakhosi goal-minder added that he has rested for most of break but is already excited about return to action later this month. "I have been at home, hanging around with family and friends," he said. "I can't wait to get back into action. "I will be back to work soon to prepare myself before the team starts with the preseason preparations. There's a lot at stake waiting for us in the new season."
