The mom of four didn't get her boys stamp of approval for the 'AHS' look

Kim Kardashian's boys were not a fan of her American Horror Story transformation.

In an exclusive clip from this week's episode of The Kardashians shared with PEOPLE, the mom of four, 43, can be seen in glam, getting into character as Siobhan, the publicist to actress Anna Victoria Alcott (Emma Roberts).

"How do you think I look, Saint?" she asks her older son over FaceTime, to which he bluntly replies, "Bad."

"Bad? Okay, is Psalm there?" she asks, prompting him to hand the phone over to his little brother. Psalm, 4, adorably greets Kardashian by saying, "Hi, mommy!"

"Hi Psalmy! Do you think I look scary?" she asks, to his muffled response.

In a confessional, Kardashian explains of her AHS role, "This is not like some little cameo, this is like a serious role I'm in. That's the one thing I'm just insecure about."

In addition to her two boys, Kardashian is mom to daughters Chicago, 5, and North, 10, who she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

Earlier this fall, Kardashian spoke about how she's been adjusting to raising her four kids as a single mom. "I think I'm still learning how to be a single parent," she admitted in an earlier episode of The Kardashians.

"I just did the Jay Shetty podcast where I spoke about parenting, and I mean, I should be used to it by now, but everyone had a lot to say," she continued, referencing criticisms of her comments on struggling with time despite having household help.

"The struggles that my kids go through really have nothing to do with the amount of help that I have," she leveled.

"Obviously, having nannies and a chef to help cook is beyond helpful. It's all about family and enjoying these moments. It takes a village to raise kids, but at the end of the day, your kids only want you."

"The one thing that everyone has in common is just the amount of time that we have. I'm raising four kids and I split my time between my work, my family, my four kids and I want to make sure that my kids have 90% of that," Kardashian explained.
