Kim Kardashian isn't afraid to admit when she needs a little help.

Speaking to GQ for the cover story of their Men of the Year issue, the SKIMS founder, 43, opened up about her parenting style, saying that although she doesn't speak to a therapist for herself, the mom of four does consult one when it comes to her kids.

"I tried a little bit before my marriage ended," Kardashian says of therapy. "I do have a therapist that only deals in child psychology that I talk to to get parenting tips and advice. Sometimes I feel challenged by parenting."

Kardashian is mom to daughters Chicago, 5, and North, 10, and sons Psalm, 4, and Saint, 7, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.

In an episode of The Kardashians from early November, the star opened up about her daughter North, saying that she tries to find "little things" to bond with each of her kids about.

"North is really special and smart and creative and definitely beats to her own drum. Her personality is really, really silly," she explained as the two worked on cutting up a cucumber — which they later realized was a zucchini.

"It's so interesting because her temperament as a child is the same now. You definitely just come out your own person," she shared.

"Kourtney always says North is my lesson on this planet. It means I'm supposed to learn more patience. She teaches me patience. She has taught me a lot about life."

Earlier this fall, Kardashian spoke about how she's been adjusting to raising her four kids as a single mom.  "I think I'm still learning how to be a single parent," she admitted in an episode of The Kardashians.

"I just did the Jay Shetty podcast where I spoke about parenting, and I mean, I should be used to it by now, but everyone had a lot to say," she continued, referencing criticisms of her comments on struggling with time despite having household help.

"The struggles that my kids go through really have nothing to do with the amount of help that I have," she leveled.

"Obviously, having nannies and a chef to help cook is beyond helpful. It's all about family and enjoying these moments. It takes a village to raise kids, but at the end of the day, your kids only want you."

"The one thing that everyone has in common is just the amount of time that we have. I'm raising four kids and I split my time between my work, my family, my four kids and I want to make sure that my kids have 90% of that," Kardashian explained.
