Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Reach Deal to Avoid Foreclosure on Georgia Mansion
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the pair's bank lender agreed to cease foreclosure proceedings for the next 90 days, so they can try to sell their home

Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann have reached an agreement in the foreclosure case for their Georgia mansion in the midst of their lengthy divorce battle.
According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the pair's bank lender, Truist, agreed to cease foreclosure for the next 90 days, so the former couple can try to sell their Alpharetta home without it being foreclosed on.
In April, lawyers for Truist gave Zolciak and Biermann until May 3 to go back to court or else face the possibility of being served with a foreclosure.
The ex-couple currently have the home listed for $4.5 million. In January, they significantly reduced the asking price for the second time after it had failed to sell since October.
Originally listing it for $3.2 million in early October, they nearly doubled the asking price to $6 million just a few weeks later, according to Zillow.
The massive 15,700 sq. ft. home is set on 1.78 acres 25 miles north of Atlanta and features seven bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. It overlooks a lake and golf course and features a heated pool, six-car garage, walk-in wine cellar and a gym equipped with a spa area.
The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star, 46 has previously shown off the inside of the luxurious abode on her Instagram, including the kids' unique arcade room, which features hand-painted murals and a splatter-print carpet.
She also shared the estate’s private basketball court in a video of her 11-year-old son Kash.
The estranged couple, who were married for 12 years, have six children. In addition to Kash, they share twins Kaia Rose and Kane Ren, 10, and son Kroy Jagger, 13. Zolciak’s two older daughters — Brielle, 27, and Ariana, 22 — were legally adopted by Biermann in 2013.

They initially separated in May 2023, PEOPLE previously reported, and the Bravo star described their marriage as "irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation." In July, they briefly decided not to split and tried to work through their issues for their kids.
A source revealed to PEOPLE in October that they were still living together in the house despite the split.
Zolciak called the cops on Biermann in April for allegedly stealing her phone and locking himself in her room, a 911 call and police body cam footage obtained by TMZ showed.
She claimed that her estranged husband had allegedly violated a December 2023 court order that required each to stay in separate sides of the house.

Their Georgia mansion was the subject of controversy well before the couple called it quits.
In February 2023, the property was placed in foreclosure, according to a notice shared by Fulton County, and Truist Bank planned to auction it off after the couple defaulted on a $1.65 million loan they took out in 2012.
Kim insisted that the situation was a "misunderstanding" with the bank, a source told PEOPLE at the time.
"She is telling everyone this is a misunderstanding and is being sorted out," the source said, adding, "She's not moving."

Although the issue was later resolved before the planned auction date, an insider shared with PEOPLE that the financial woes played a role in the downfall of their relationship.
"There's no cheating on either side. The money has a lot to do with the split, but there were other factors. He's been managing [the family] for a long time, so he technically did have a job. They're not on good terms right now," the source said.
