Kin of 2 IAF men killed in chopper crash will get Rs. 20 lakh: Akhilesh

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav on Wednesday announced a compensation of Rs 20 lakh to the families of two Indian Air Force personnel from his state who were killed during the rescue operation in Uttarakhand. Two security personnel named Sudhakar Yadav and Akhilesh Pratap hailing from Uttar Pradesh, were part of the crew which was in the Indian Air force (IAF) chopper crash at the time of the tragedy. Talking to mediapersons in Lucknow, yadav also expressed grief over the unfortunate helicopter crash and said that Rs one crore has been donated by Kripaluji Maharaj to CM's Relief Fund for the flood-hit Uttarakhand.
