“King of Queens” star Leah Remini says she still signs autographs and fan mail: ‘I’ll never take it for granted!’

Remini starred as Carrie Heffernan from 1998 to 2007.

Leah Remini is living out her childhood dream.

The actress, famous for spending 9 years as Carrie Heffernan on The King of Queens, still signs her fan mail nearly two decades after the sitcom came to a close. On Saturday, Remini proved her dedication by sharing a video featuring dozens of autographed photos spread across her table.

"I thought that I would share this with you,” she told followers, panning across the photos. “I still do my fan mail. I still sign it. My mother lays it all out on my dining room table, and I do this once every two weeks”

She continued, "I always vow to do this and to always sign or take a picture if I can with people. Because this is what I dreamed about — people wanting my picture.”

Continuing those grateful sentiments in the caption, Remini added, “This is what I always dreamed of when I was younger and I’ll never take it for granted!”

Though the CBS sitcom ended its run in 2007, Remini hasn’t been shy about celebrating her continued love of the series. When The King of Queens celebrated the 25th anniversary of its premiere last year, the actress penned a lengthy post thanking both fans and all of her "amazing" costars, including Kevin James, Jerry Stiller, Gary Valentine, Patton Oswalt, and many more.

"I want to let you all know that I see the comments where you say that you fall asleep every night to The King of Queens, that it got you through a rough day and tough times in your lives, that you laughed for the first time in your day watching us, or that you watch several episodes a day, or that you and your family bond over watching the episodes in syndication," Remini wrote. "It means the world to me, and I'm so grateful for this experience that lives on and on.”
