KMR’s Harold Augenstein, Jodie Bowman & Sam Sherry Join Alexander White Agency To Open L.A. Office
Three more KMR Talent agents, Harold Augenstein, Vice President and Head of LA Theatrical; as well as LA theatrical agents Jodie Bowman and Sam Sherry, have left the agency whose franchise with SAG-AFTRA was suspended on Friday following weeks of mounting problems with client payment delays.
The three have joined the Alexander White Agency to open a Los Angeles office.

“I’m so excited to be welcome this incredibly hard working and knowledgeable group of agents to the Alexander White Agency,” said White. “Their combined experience and dedication to the impressive client list they’ve built are the perfect fit for the culture of our agency and we are thrilled to be announcing the opening of our LA office with them at helm”.
Augenstein, Bowman and Sherry join the exodus from KMR. On the theatrical side, Jed Abrahams resigned Saturday as SVP and head of the agency’s New York office.
All agents in KMR’s formidable commercial department have also moved on. Jamie Hernandez, Head of Adult On-Camera Commercial, teamed with KMR talent agent Alicia Ruskin, Partner/SVP, to open their own shop, True Artists Agency. Agent Valerie Chiovetti joined Stewart Talent’s commercial department. And Doug Kesten and Tracey Goldblum, Vice Presidents and Co-Heads of New York On-Camera Commercials, joined Los Angeles-based agency Brady Brannon & Rich to open a New York office.
In their statement, Augenstein, Bowman and Sherry referenced indirectly the turmoil at KMR.
“Our television, film, and theatre clients deserve to partner with an agency who can provide a safe and trusted space to engage in opportunities at the highest level,” the trio said. “We are exhilarated in keeping our devoted team together with the talented people who drive our passion.”
