What to Know About Gigi Paris, Glen Powell’s Ex-Girlfriend
Exes Gigi Paris and Glen Powell had been in a relatively drama-free 'ship for three years. That is, until their romance gained renewed fan interest around February 2023 once Glen and his Anyone but You costar Sydney Sweeney began filming the romantic comedy in Australia together.
It was at that point that fans everywhere got ahold of snaps of the duo filming scenes together and couldn't deny their chemistry (I mean, it's called being an actor, people!!!). But regardless of the professional setting the celebs were in, people everywhere continued to speculate. Enter: Page Six reporting in April 2023 that Gigi had unfollowed Sydney on Instagram in a move that further fueled the rumor mill.
But as far as anyone knew, Glen and Sydney were simply doing an A+ job of romance movie promo! How-ev-er, two days later, Gigi herself seemingly confirmed the split on her Instagram. Ahem, observe:
“Know your worth & onto the next,” read the caption, which accompanied a vid of the model twirling in the streets of NYC. Plus, she no longer appeared to be following the actor, so there was that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Oh, and in addition to the post and unfollow, Gigi *also* uploaded a Story of herself walking a dog outside with the words “migrated east” written out over a New York City geotag.
To this day, the model remains in NYC and honestly seems to be thriving!

Gigi is a model
While most of us were out here begging our parents for an Easy Bake Oven, Gigi was too busy being *discovered* at the age of 14. One of her first jobs, you ask? A not-so-casual moment in Seventeen magazine.
“I was 14 when I first started and I had never thought about modeling…like, it never occurred to me. When I first started, I booked Seventeen magazine, which was like, Whoa! For a little 14-year-old girl, I was so excited,” Gigi said in an interview.
She has been modeling ever since and has landed some pretty major campaigns, including Revolve and Nordstrom, and she walked the runway during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Swim in 2015.
Aside from modeling, Gigi has also appeared in other projects including Keith Urban’s music video for “Somewhere in My Car” back in 2014. Ahem, witness:
She’s originally a Miami girly
Gigi was actually born in a neighborhood in Miami called Coconut Grove, and she spent her younger years in the city before eventually moving to Los Angeles—although judging from the looks of her ~content~ recently, she might be calling NYC her home for a while. 👀 Cute fun fact: Her mother (who is French) and father (who is Venezuelan) met while attending the University of Miami and “are still just as in love as the day they met,” according to the model. Gigi has previously openly discussed how her cultural background has helped mold her into the person she is: “I identify with many different cultures, so I don’t really identify with anything in particular. I call myself a little ‘mutt’ of sorts. I like to think we as people are all one,” she shared in an interview with In the Face of Others.
She and Glen first sparked dating rumors in January 2020
Glen and Gigi were first spotted looking v cozy while vacationing in Punta Mita, Mexico, back in January 2020. (Like, these two were full-on making out on the beach and looking generally in love in the pap shots.)
They made their Insta debut on Valentine’s Day 2021
Fast-forward roughly a year, and the couple finally confirmed their relationship news on Insta—and on Valentine’s Day, no less!
Gigi is a designer
In 2021, Gigi launched her clothing brand, Jijou Paris, which sells hand-dyed silk garments including dresses, shirts, and PJ sets I want to immediately add to my cart. Of the designs, Gigi said, “All of our pieces are locally sourced and produced in Los Angeles, California. Although our inspiration stems from our French roots, the pulse of Jijou lives and breathes in the magic of Hollywood.”

Clearly, Gigi is the definition of a multi-hyphenate because in 2019, she traveled to Bali to train and become certified as a yoga instructor. She had to spend 300 hours (!!) learning about the discipline to earn her certification.
While reflecting on the entire experience on Instagram, she said in part, “It’s been exactly 2 years since I became yoga certified after 300 hours of training in Bali. 🎉 This trip is hard to put into words, but to say the least, I went in without any idea of how much it would change my life…I’m most thankful for the gift I came home with: the capability of teaching something that can benefit others. This practice has not only strengthened my body & mind but opened my heart to the unlimited.”

She was v supportive of Glen.
Throughout her roughly three-year ’ship with Glen, Gigi seemed to have always been there for her BF, sharing tons of content from his press tours and movie premieres. Case in point? Her gushing post after the global premiere of actor’s film Top Gun: Maverick.
“I can’t tell you enough how special this movie is. Please RUN to see Top Gun Maverick, May 27th. I always thought @glenpowell was a little crazy for his obsession with all things @topgunmovie but now that I’ve seen it…I get it. Fangirling for life. So proud of you, Hangman 🤍,” she wrote.
