I’m Ashley Marco Cruz also known as Killuash. I am a pro player from Aura Philippines and I play the fighter role on the team.

On starting in esports...

I was just grinding [points in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang] before, and I found solid teammates.

While I was just playing for fun, my teammates said that I had potential to join a professional team. People saw something in me that I didn't, so I took their advice and did what I had to.

I landed myself in the professional scene right after. It wasn’t easy since you have to stand out among millions that play the same game, but I’m glad I made it.

Most memorable esports/gaming moment...

Whether minor or major, with whoever team I am playing for — every championship I ever won is memorable to me. It’s not everyday you get to win something, so I cherish every single one.

On gear...

I only have my gaming phone when I play, I don’t feel like I need anything else aside from that. I do use Air Pods/headset if I have to, but it’s mostly just me and my gaming phone all the time.

[ I'd love] an entire bad-ass PC setup. Or a PS5 — who wouldn’t love to own one?

On an industry idol...

There is no one in particular. I mainly just focus on myself and how to be better. I look up to the person I want to become and grow from the person that I was before, so it’s safe to say that I am motivated by myself [my own growth].

On the name Killuash...

My in-game name came from the anime character in Hunter x Hunter which is Killua. I added "ash" because of my name Ashley. Combining the two, I came up with Killuash.

Other fun facts...

I'm a Libra and I enjoy playing the guitar and skateboarding. My favourite food is Tocino (Tocino is a cured meat product native to the Philippines. It is sometimes referred to as sweet red pork.)
