Kristen Wiig and Ryan Gosling to host “Saturday Night Live” in April

Former cast member Wiig is officially joining the Five-Timers Club, as Gosling hopefully returns to give us a sequel to "Papyrus."

Some famous faces are returning to Studio 8H: NBC has announced that Kristen Wiig and Ryan Gosling will return to host back-to-back episodes of Saturday Night Live in April.

Wiig will officially join the Five-Timers Club, after serving as a cast member for seven seasons between 2005 and 2012. She'll host the April 6 episode with musical guest Raye, presumably resurrecting classic characters like Target Lady, Gilly, or Mindy Elise Grayson. Wiig last hosted in December 2020, but she often pops up for cameo appearances, most recently on the Dec. 16 episode hosted by Kate McKinnon.

Meanwhile, Gosling will host the April 13 episode with musical guest Chris Stapleton, just a few weeks after the actor brought the house down performing "I'm Just Ken" at the Oscars. This will be his third time hosting, after stints in 2015 and 2017. (Fingers crossed for a sequel to his standout 2017 short "Papyrus.")

Up next, Ramy creator and star Ramy Youssef will make his SNL debut, hosting the March 30 episode. He'll be joined by musical guest Travis Scott.

SNL airs live Saturdays at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on NBC and Peacock.
