Kwek family "in shock" over death of Kwek Kon Chun

Kwek Kon Chun, 35, was a co-owner of the Neverland Group, which runs a stable of nightclubs in Singapore and Malaysia, including Neverland in Orchard Plaza. He was also the nephew of Hong Leong Group’s executive chairman Kwek Leng Beng.

The family of fatal car accident victim Kwek Kon Chun issued a statement, saying they were “still in shock” over his untimely death.

They also requested that they be allowed to grieve in private and extended their condolences to the family of the late Franco Toh, the other victim in the same accident, reported The Straits Times, quoting the statement.

The statement also confirmed that Kwek was the managing director of private property company Hong Realty, a subsidiary of Hong Leong Group Singapore, and was the nephew of multimillionaire Hong Leong Group Director Kwek Leng Peck.
