Kylie Jenner Fronts Sam Edelman Latest Campaign: 'Fashion Is a Source of Power'

The mega fashion star fronts the shoewear brand’s spring/summer 2024 campaign as its new brand ambassador

Makeup, skincare, clothes, fragrance: Kylie Jenner has dipped her toes in almost every category in the style space. But that cannot and will not stop the multi-hyphenated icon from taking on one more impressive gig. Enter: Sam Edelman.

On March 11, the Kardashians star, 26, was announced as brand ambassador for the contemporary shoewear brand, appointed for her “cutting-edge taste," forever elegance and worldwide influence.

Jenner says in a press release her favorite part about modeling in the spring/summer 2024 photo shoot — which showcases the pumps, slingback heels, sandals and ballet flats from “The Icons” capsule — was, of course, the shoes and dressing up.

"This campaign [photographed by David Lipman] epitomized that fashion is more than just something to wear, it is a source of power,” says Jenner, who is nothing short of a style chameleon herself.

For this particular shoot, Jenner rocked a chic bob by Jesus Guerrero. She also transformed into a mod bombshell clad in daring George Cortina-styled looks (a cutout LBD here, a lace bustier there) and Sam Edelman’s designs, which made her feel empowered.

“I loved the way each pair fit me flawlessly and instilled a sense of confidence and beauty,” Jenner says of the styles she modeled, including the new rosette Leana heels worn in a PEOPLE exclusive behind-the-scenes photo.

The rest of the collection, according to a press release, spotlights “a blend of fresh fashion trends alongside timeless classics emblematic of the brand's legacy.”

Jenner feels extra “honored” to be a part of the Sam Edelman family as the company rings in 20 years of “remarkable craftsmanship" and the brand's dedication to championing "the power of people through footwear.” What a way to celebrate an anniversary!

“Twenty years is a huge milestone for our brand,” says creative director Sam Edelman in a press release. Edelman co-founded the company with his wife and muse, Libby, in 2004.

“Kylie Jenner is the complete embodiment of the modern woman — an incredible mother, daughter, sister, friend, and entrepreneur. Having her as our brand’s face for this milestone year is a true testament to the incredible fashion and momentum we plan to bring to our customers, not just this year but for many more to come."

President and CEO of Caleres (Sam Edelman's parent company) Jay Schmidt, cannot be more proud of Sam Edelman and the team’s continuing success in footwear. “From his bow ballet [shoes] to the Bay sandal to the Hazel dress pump, he’s [got] that special talent that keeps delivering.”

To celebrate the new collection and campaign, as well as Jenner’s ambassadorship, Edelman himself will make appearances at Nordstrom locations in Scottsdale, Arizona and Dallas on April 4 and April 6 respectively.
