Kylie Jenner has revealed a dramatic new hair transformation on social media.

The Kardashians star shared a collection of three photos on her Instagram of her new pink hair, with the caption: "hiiiii remember me".

Fans were excited by the hair reveal, with many of the comments referencing the return of ‘King Kylie’.

You have to go back almost a decade to explain the significance of this – when Kylie was dating rapper Tyga in 2015, she changed her social media profiles to ‘King Kylie’, in line with his online title King Gold Chains.

At this time, Kylie was often dyeing her hair bright colours, including pink, so these new snaps are quite the throwback for long-time fans of the reality star.

The comments section was filled with complements from both fans and influencers, with one gushing: "Obsessed with the pink hair on you".

"This is how I know 2023 is going to be a good year", said another, while a third said: "king kylie returning is proof the earth is in fact healing".

Another even suggested Kylie using her throwback style to bring back her former reality show, saying: "we never did get a season 2 of Life of Kylie… just saying".

Kylie clearly feels the same, as in October she told WSJ magazine that her new fashion brand, Khy, was quite "King Kylie – who I am at my core."

However, this may not actually be a permanent look, as lots of fans have speculated that the bubblegum pink locks might just be a wig.

November saw the conclusion of season four of The Kardashians, and there is a good chance famous family will be back for a season five.

A new season hasn’t yet been officially confirmed, but last year the show was renewed by Disney+ for an additional 20 episodes, with only ten of these having aired so far.

The Kardashians seasons 1-4 are available to stream now on Disney+.
