Lara Trump Drops New Music On Same Day As Beyoncé — And Social Media Goes Nuts
Lara Trump may have dropped a new song on the same day that Beyoncé released her country album, but that’s where the musical comparisons end.
Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law and the recently installedRepublican National Committee co-chair released a ditty Friday called “Anything Is Possible.”
The song is a very nasal follow-up to her much-maligned cover of Tom Petty’s “I Won’t Back Down.”
“A little something I had fun with over the winter (and a few more too that I’ll save for a future date, special for my YUGE fans in the liberal media),” she said in a post on X, formerly Twitter, that was punctuated with emoji.
You can hear a clip of the song below:

How bad was the reaction on social media? Well, no one is telling her to give up her day job at the RNC ― even though she seems to be woefully unqualified for that gig.
This is the Co-chair of the RNC.
She couldn’t take a break from her insanely narcissistic grifting for even a month. https://t.co/P7YBURKku4— Peter Henlein (@SwissWatchGuy) March 29, 2024

Some people questioned Lara Trump’s priorities since this is (checks notes) an election year.
We have 2 major political parties in this country and one of them is pinning the ENTIRETY of their electoral hopes on a woman in the middle of an album release. https://t.co/9RtdpxDLoXpic.twitter.com/2mmvBrkFdR

If you had any doubt that they are simply celebrity politicians/staffers here to get stroked by the public instead of doing any good for the country, I present to you the evidence. https://t.co/SuBpDLEvhX

The @TheDemocrats raised $25M with @BarackObama, @JoeBiden, and @BillClinton all in one day.
Surely the @GOP has a response since their candidate needs more cash and all we do is lose.
Surely we don’t need @RonDeSantis to save us, right Lara?!@LaraLeaTrump/@GOP: https://t.co/9q6SFPr4WI— Paul V (@VolckersThesis) March 29, 2024
Others joked that the song could be used as both a fundraising device and a weapon for torture.
🚨BREAKING🚨
In order to boost RNC fundraising Team Trump is locking donors in rooms and playing Lara Trump's entire catalog until the donors cut sufficiently large checks.
Some are calling it a human rights violation.

Are you threatening to sing until we donate? Because that is an 8th Amendment violation.

But one man seemed to sum up the whole reaction in a rather pithy way:
I don’t know who needs to hear this…
