Larry David Tees Off on Trump: ‘He’s a Sociopath’

Larry David didn’t curb any of his feelings about Donald Trump during an upcoming interview on Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace? on Max. The comedian teed off on the former president, speaking with rare candor about his political views — or at least his views about the former president.

“You can’t go a day without thinking about what he’s done to this country,” David responded to a question from Chris Wallace about how the 2020 election and its aftermath has affected him. “He’s such a little baby that he’s thrown 250 years of democracy out the window by not accepting the results of the election. It’s so crazy. He’s such a sociopath. He’s so insane. He just couldn’t admit to losing. We know he lost. He knows he lost — and look at how he’s fooled everybody, he’s convinced all these people that he didn’t lose. He’s such a sick man. He’s so sick.”

“Anyway, no, it hasn’t impacted me at all,” he added with a laugh.

It certainly isn’t surprising that David isn’t a fan of Trump, although he has incorporated the cult around the former president into “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” In a 2020 episode of the show, David uses a MAGA hat both to avoid having to talk to people, and to get out of altercations with conservatives. In one scene, he cuts off a burly guy on a motorcycle. When the rider accosts David, David quickly throws on the MAGA hat. “Oh, just be more careful next time,” the guy says.

Trump tweeted the clip. “TOUGH GUYS FOR TRUMP,” he wrote, missing the joke.
