You can always count on Lenny Kravitz to bring his rock star edge to every red carpet.

He did just that at the 35th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards on Thursday night in Palm Springs, California.

The "American Woman" singer wore his hair pulled back, showing off large black sunglasses that perfectly framed his face.

Posing for pictures on the red carpet, the Grammy winner looked effortlessly cool while wearing a black blazer with one lapel that was embellished with an assortment of black, brown, and crystal jewels for a bold look.

Kravitz wore black pants and white shoes for a pop of color. Before finishing up on the carpet, the Shotgun Wedding talent stopped to take photos with fellow actor Willem Dafoe.

Kravitz is on hand at the ceremony to present Colman Domingo with the Spotlight Award for his role in Rustin.

Kravitz, 59, brought daughter Zoë Kravitz for his date to the Academy Museum Gala in December, showing off the fact that sartorial prowess runs in the family.

Wearing all black along with some futuristic shades, the singer complemented the Big Little Lies star's sleek copper brown floor-length gown as they posed for photographers.

The younger Kravitz rocked short bangs with her hair pulled back and held a black clutch to accent her polished look. Her dad, meanwhile, dressed in a tuxedo jacket worn bare over his chest and appeared to carry his own black satchel with his arm held around his daughter.

Kravitz loves a plunging neckline and rocked a similar look for last year's Oscars. To perform during the In Memoriam segment of the ceremony, he swapped a tuxedo for a '70s-inspired silk jumpsuit on the Oscars red carpet. Kravitz's Saint Laurent ensemble featured a plunging silk top highlighting his toned chest, and wide-legged trousers with a wide cummerbund.

He paired pointy black boots with the flared pants and topped off the groovy look with a pair of black sunglasses and variety of silver chains and large silver crucifix.

Kravitz, who was named Fashion Icon at the 2022 CFDA Fashion Awards, told Highsnobiety last May that he owes a lot to his late mom, Roxie Roker, for supporting his love of fashion as he was growing up.

When he was first arriving on the music scene in the 1980s, people around him were not too sure of the style that would ultimately help cement him in the zeitgeist. He told the outlet, "My friends were like, 'Your mom's going to freak.' We were all nervous."

Despite his friends' concern, Kravitz said his mom looked him "up and down" before saying to him, "If you're gonna wear that skirt, you got to change them shoes."

Kravitz continued, "One thing about my mother, she never judged anybody. She just loved."
