Leung Kit Wah discharged from hospital
22 Jan – After rumours of Felix Wong's wife suffering from leukaemia spread like wild fire, it was revealed that the former TVB star, Leung Kit Wah was finally discharged from the hospital after being treated for a different kind of health issue.
As reported on Oriental Daily, on 21 January, her daughter, Adrian Wong clarified through her manager that Leung Kit Wah was hospitalised in mid December not of leukaemia, but for scurvy - a condition caused by an insufficient intake of Vitamin C.
"Although it's rare and easily cured, some cases are much more severe and requires attentive treatment and observation," said Adrian's manager, adding that the family decided not to talk about it at first as it was considered a private matter.
On 20 January, Leung Kit Wah was reported to have left the hospital after doctor confidently stated that she will be fully recovered within six months. She was also reminded to take a good care of her health due to her weakened immune system.
