2 Mar – Just when you think the Golden Globe award could not get any grander, China's sweetheart Li Bingbing managed to stun everyone on the Oscars red carpet with her dazzling one-of-a-kind outfit, according to Daily Chilli.

The 40-year-old actress was dressed in a white fitted gown by Georges Chakra, and carried a Lana Marks' diamond-studded purse costing a massive US$400,000 (RM1.2 million).

Not only that, the George Chakra-designed petal-textured white gown helped to flaunt Li Bingbing's curves. It seems that no one knows Li better than the Lebanese designer, who was also responsible for Li's remarkable gown at 2011's Cannes Film Festival.

Her gown was described as being 'light as paper' and that the diamonds on the clutch as worth 40 carats. finished off her attention-winning outfit with her white diamonds clutch. Dubbed as the Cleopatra Clutch, these exclusive handbags are taken to be lucky charms, with its wearers, famous Hollywood actresses such as Charlize Theron, Kate Winslet and Helen Mirren, all going on to win the coveted Oscar for Best Actress.

Outfit aside, the Chinese star, who is also UNEP's Goodwill Ambassador, is fast making a name for herself in Hollywood, with her latest achievement being nicking a spot in the zombie-action flick "Resident Evil: Retribution" as her first English film debut, in addition to being seen regularly at international film festivals and award shows.
