Lily Allen thinks Beyoncé is getting 'help' to look younger
Lily Allen thinks Beyoncé is getting "help" to look young.
The 38-year-old singer ended up discussing global superstar Beyoncé, 42, on her 'Miss Me?' podcast with close friend Miquita Oliver where they claimed that the 'Texas Hold 'Em' hitmaker looked "great" in her forties.
Miquita said: "She does look great, she makes me quite excited about [my] 40s!"
Lily replied: "Yeah, but she's getting some help!"
When Miquita insisted that Beyoncé had not had any form of cosmetic work done, Lily was quick to point out that she likely has a team of "great stylists" and fitness instructors behind her to help her achieve her looks and figure.
Miquita said: "She has not had any work done if that’s what you’re implying!"
Lily replied: "I didn’t say that [but] she’s got a great team of stylists, great hair people, she works out, [she’s] got access to the best personal trainers in the world … she’s Beyoncé."
Towards the end of last year, Beyoncé claimed that there was no way for her to actually defy age as she spoke out about having had surgery for injuries caused by elaborate performances in the past.
Speaking in her 'Renaissance' documentary film, she said: "I believe I’ve been dancing and fighting through injuries for the past 15 years. The first time I was flown in a harness, they crashed me into metal stairs.
"Maybe 15 years later, I just got surgery on that knee. It just said, ‘no more.’
"I'm a human, not a machine!"
Lily also spoke out about Beyoncé's controversial cover of Dolly Parton's classic track Jolene.
She said: "It’s quite an interesting thing to do when you’re trying to tackle a new genre and you just choose the biggest song in that genre [to cover]. I mean you do you, Beyoncé."
