Lisa Joy And Jonathan Nolan Sign With CAA

EXCLUSIVE: Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan and their production company Kilter Films, which they run alongside longtime producing partner Athena Wickham, have signed with CAA for representation.

The signing comes off the success of Prime Video’s Fallout, on which Joy and Nolan serve as executive producers, with Nolan directing the first three episodes. The acclaimed series quickly became one of the most-watched titles ever on the Amazon platform and has been renewed for a second season. The duo had been with WME prior to signing with CAA.

In television, Nolan and Joy were co-creators, showrunners, executive producers, writers and directors of the award-winning HBO original series Westworld, which ran for four seasons and was nominated for 54 Primetime Emmys including Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Directing in a Drama Series, and Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series. Joy and Nolan served as executive producers of the Amazon series The Peripheral, and Nolan is the creator of the CBS series Person of Interest, which ran for five seasons.

On the film side, Nolan has a long list of scripts he has penned including Memento, which he co-wrote with his brother Christopher Nolan and earned them an original screenplay Oscar nomination. Additionally, he co-wrote The Prestige, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises and Interstellar.

Joy’s directorial debut Reminiscence, which she also wrote and produced, was released by Warner Bros in 2021 and starred Hugh Jackman and Rebecca Ferguson.

The pair continue to be represented by Michael Schenkman of Goodman, Genow, Schenkman, Smelkinson & Christopher and ID PR.
