Liu Ye wins Best Actor at Shanghai Festival

21 Jun - Chinese actor Liu Ye has been named Best Actor at the recently concluded Shanghai International Film Festival.

As reported on ECNS News, the actor, who won the award for his role in Cao Baoping's crime drama, "Cock and Bull", thanked the director for his dedication to the film.

"It has been around ten years since I won my last award for Best Actor," said Liu.

He also attributed his achievements to his mother, wife Anais Martane, and his agent, saying, "With their support and efforts, I was able to achieve balance between work and personal life."

Meanwhile, Chinese film "De Lan", directed by Liu Jie, won the Golden Goblet Award for Best Feature Film.
