Logan Paul has won his first championship in WWE.

At Crown Jewel on Saturday (November 4) Paul defeated WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio to win the United States Championship in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The YouTuber had made a spectacular entrance to the event, arriving to the Mohammed Abdu Arena in a dune buggy.

On X, Paul was congratulated by Triple H who shared a photo alongside him and wrote: "Just 8 matches into his career, @LoganPaul has cemented his place in the world of sports entertainment... and now, he's got the hardware to prove it.

"Congratulations to your new U.S. Champion, 'The Maverick' Logan Paul."

Paul had challenged Mysterio after he defeated Dillon Danis by disqualification in a boxing match last month, telling him: "I beat you once brother, now I'm coming for that US Championship."

He had previously defeated Mysterio in his debut WWE match at WrestleMania 38 when he teamed with The Miz against Rey and his son Dominik Mysterio.

In April, Paul renewed his WWE contract following his match at WrestleMania 39 against Seth Rollins.

Speaking after he had re-signed with WWE, Paul told ESPN: "I feel incredibly blessed to have found something that I'm good at, at 28 years old.

"The fact that the organisation believes I'm good enough to continue hopefully building this WWE legacy is mind-blowing. And I'm incredibly grateful and incredibly blessed. And as long as I can keep putting on good shows, man, I'm gonna keep doing this sport."
