What did you miss?

Linda Robson stunned Loose Women viewers by sticking up her middle finger during a discussion.

The presenters were talking about laughing at yourself on Thursday’s instalment (19 October) of the ITV show, when the star made the cheeky gesture.

Fans were in hysterics, as Robson's co-star Kaye Adams waded in to apologise.

What, how, and why?

Robson swore as she was talking about the fact that she did laugh at herself all the time.

Mentioning red carpets as an example, she said she found them really "embarrassing" as she talked about how tricky it was to pose.

Making the rude gesture, she joked: “I just go like that.”

“I just try and make it a joke because I don't know what else to do,” she admitted.

Robson’s move sparked giggles in the studio, but her fellow panellist Adams quickly said sorry.

“Can I just say, some people might find that gesture offensive and so we apologise,” she said.

Social media was awash with fans talking about the moment, sharing how hilarious they thought it was on X, formerly called Twitter.

"Linda sticking her middle finger up on telly, you just never know with her!!" exclaimed one person.

Another teased: "Linda needs to be taken off telly for her own protection tbf."

"Does Linda Robson or whatever her name is still not know the rules of daytime TV???" asked someone else.

What has Linda said about swearing before?

It isn’t the first time that the former Birds Of A Feather actor has accidentally sworn on TV.

And earlier this year she suggested to The Sun that it could be why she tends not to anchor the daytime programme.

"I did ask once if I could be the anchor on Loose Women," she said.

"They said, ‘Are you joking? You’ll end up swearing or something. No you can’t'."

Loose Women airs at 12.30pm on ITV on weekdays.
