Louis Koo: HKPAG will help with Yammie Lam's funeral
7 Nov – Hong Kong actor Louis Koo has recently released a statement saying that the Hong Kong Performing Arts Guild (HKPAG) will be assisting with Yammie Lam's funeral.
As reported on ET Today, the actor, who is also the president of the Guild, stated that they are aware of the fact that the late actress' parents have already passed away, which is why the guild has contacted her close friends Meg Lam and Gordon Lam to try and reach Yammie's closest relative to discuss the arrangements.
Louis also stated that the Guild has no issue bearing all the expenses if the family could not afford to give the "Chinese Odyssey" star a big funeral.
"But our biggest priority right now is to contact her family. We will do our best to help with the funeral because she is part of our entertainment industry," said the actor.
Yammie Lam was found dead at her home in Stanley, Hong Kong, last week. No foul play was suspected.
She was 55.
