Love Island spoilers follow.

Love Island 2023 has confirmed the return its classic 'Movie Night' challenge.

Since the conclusion of Casa Amor it has been a rocky few days for the Islanders, with tensions running high after the shock recouplings.

Ella and Tyrique continued to work at salvaging their relationship following Ella's decision to bring Ouzy back to the main villa. Tonight's episode (July 7) saw the couple finally able to work through their feelings, following a tense confrontation.

Still hurting from Ella's decision, Tyrique made no secret of his plans to flirt with fellow single Islander Kady McDermott.

However, Ella was quick to call the pair out on their behaviour, accusing Ty of leading Kady on to make her feel jealous.

"You're doing stuff to get a reaction from me," Ella told him, while Kady protested her innocence in the situation.

"I'm single because of you, what are you not understanding," Ty hit back. "You bringing Ouzy back made me single, I didn't want it to happen but it happened. So now this is happening."

Later in the night, Tyrique reflected on the argument with Montel and Zach, admitting that he does believe in a second chance for the pair.

"Go get your girl, bro," Zach advised.

Sitting Ella down, Tyrique made his feelings clear, revealing that he wanted to work at their relationship moving forward.

"I do believe in second chances," he said."I forgive you and I'm ready to forget, I don't want to lose you as a person."

Ella and Tyrique weren't the only ones to go through an emotional rollercoaster either as Sammy finally committed to Jess after an ultimatum from the aesthetics practitioner.

However, with Movie Night now around the corner, could there be more obstacles to overcome?

Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
