Love Island airs recoupling results as another islander leaves

Love Island spoilers follow.

There has been yet another recoupling in tonight’s (February 24) episode of Love Island, and it is safe to say that it was intense as it ended with the elimination of one Islander.

This episode saw two new bombshells enter the villa: Keanan and Rosie. And they even went on a date with a few existing members of the villa.

But it was the recoupling that truly shook up the villa tonight. Towards the end of the episode, the Islanders received a text asking them all to gather around the fire pit, where it was revealed to them that there would be yet another recoupling where the girls would choose the guys they want to be with.

Claudia chose the new bombshell Keanan while Rosie chose Claudia’s partner Casey. Lana picked Ron, Jessie stuck with Will, Olivia picked Maxwell, Sanam and Samie also stayed with their original partners, Kai and Tom.

But when it came time for Tanya to pick her partner, it was a choice between either Shaq, who was her partner and had exchanged a huge declaration of love with her before she went into Casa Amor. Or it was Martin, who was the guy she came back from Casa Amor with, surprising everyone.

Tanya had snuck out from her bed with Martin to kiss Shaq one night after returning from Casa Amor, after she said she regretted recoupling in Casa Amor and that she still loved Shaq.

So it was to no one’s surprise that she ended up picking Shaq over Martin, making Martin the Islander who ended up going home.

“Honestly, I feel like it was a very good experience. I won’t say it was the best experience of my life because it was not, but it was up there with the best,” he said in his exit speech.

“As much as it was a crazy, crazy experience, I would miss it. I have a lot of love for you lot, even though this situation turned out to be quite tough for some of you people, especially Tanya. Even though you did nothing wrong – well, you did something wrong,” he joked.

“I forgive you, I have nothing against you. I think she knows that,” he added before bidding farewell to the Islanders.

So what happens next? Only one way to find out.
