Love Island reunion airs post-villa rows and potential new couple

Love Island spoilers follow.

Love Island: The Reunion proved as captivating as ever, with post-series show showcasing arguments and a potential new romance.

The yearly special sees the cast reunite in front of a live audience to spill the tea on their post-villa exploits, and those all-important heated moments on the island.

Host Maya Jama, with the support of panellists Indiyah Polack and Sam Thompson, lit the touch paper for the evening, with the latter managing to unearth a potential new couple.

As he sat on the table opposite Elom Ahlijah-Wilson, Catherine Agbaje and Scott van-der-Sluis, there was only one question on his mind; are the latter two now an item?

“Do you want to tell him?” said Scott to Catherine, who subsequently confirmed that the pair were “good friends” and had chatted in their DMs since the show ended.

With plenty of eye contact and nervous smiles between the pair, it didn’t take long for fans to assume that the pair had gotten back together after being coupled up at one point.

“THE LOOK???? THE SILENCE????? THE TENSION???? ‘DO YOU WANT TO START’ CATHERINE & SCOTT ARE KILLING ME #loveisland” wrote one viewer, whilst another wrote: “CATHERINE AND SCOTT ARE DEFFO NOT JUST 'GOOD FRIENDS' WE DID IT GUYS #LoveIslandReunion #loveIsland”

It wasn’t the only drama on the night, with Zachariah Noble and Kady McDermott engaging in a war of words. After a slightly awkward conversation on the sofa, which involved Zach’s girlfriend Molly Marsh, things got heated later in the night.

Zach took issue with Kady’s comments on the podcast, saying that Molly was “doing too much.” Kady responded from another table, telling the pair to “enjoy their 15 minutes of fame.”

The 10th series, which concluded last weekend, was won by Jess Harding and Sammy Root after they prevailed in the public vote.
