Love Island star has body part "reattached" after accident
Former Love Island star Jay Younger has suffered an incident while training that left him with a ruptured pec.
Jay, who took part in the eighth season of the ITV2 dating show, took to Instagram to share a selfie from his hospital bed. He's smiling and giving a thumbs up at the camera, with the snap revealing a gauze pad on his right shoulder.
"My pec has been reattached after I tore it during a training sesh. Jeezy peeps man :)," Jay shared in the caption, reassuring his followers that he'll be back in training soon.
"I'll be back at it after a bit of rehab," he wrote.

Jay also shared details of his diagnosis, including a screen grab of his patient referral in which it's specified he's suffered from a "right pectoralis major rupture".
Jay's fellow former Islanders rushed to his comment section to share their well wishes.
Among those who've wished Jay a speedy recovery are Jacques O'Neill, Josh Legrove, Chuggs Wallis and Reece Ford.
Jay entered the Love Island villa on day 9, exploring a connection with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who would go on to win the season with Davide Sanclimenti.

Following his elimination on day 35, Jay reflected on spending most of his time in the villa single, later revealing a missed connection with Paige Thorne.
"I realised that actually I maybe overlooked a potential connection there with Paige," the investment analyst said in an exclusive chat with Digital Spy in July 2022.
"But that's the biggest lesson I learned is people move at their own pace romantically and in life."
Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
