Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury announce engagement

Former Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have shared the happy news that they are engaged, following a romantic proposal.

Molly-Mae posted a black-and-white video to her Instagram account capturing the moment, which showed her getting emotional as she walked towards Tommy, who was standing on a cliff edge with a view out to sea and surrounded by flowers, holding their daughter Bambi.

As Molly-Mae reached them, Tommy passed Bambi over to her, before getting down on one knee and presenting a ring. After she said yes to Tommy's proposal, the pair embraced and kissed, their joy plain to see on their faces.

Molly-Mae simply captioned the post "Forever" alongside the proposal date (July 23).

Their friends, family and former Love Island co-stars were quick to offer their congratulations in the comments, with season two star Olivia Bowen (who met her husband Alex Bowen on Love Island) writing: "Ahhhhhhh my goodness. Congratulations gorgeous people."

Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt posted four heart emojis, while Love Island series five winner – and Molly-Mae and Tommy's co-star – Amber Gill wrote: "Congrats you two babes. Always the cutest videos."

Meanwhile, former Love Island UK star turned social ambassador for the USA version, Maura Higgins, shared: "BALLING AGAIN!!!!!!!!! I love you so much. CONGRATULATIONS YOU TWO."

Stacey Solomon joined the celebratory comments with: "Awww congratulations [crying emoji]. So happy for you all." As did former Emmerdale actress Michelle Hardwick, who said: "Congratulations to you both! Beautiful family."

Molly-Mae and Tommy met on Love Island season five in 2019, before moving in together following the show, and their daughter Bambi Fury was born in January 2023.

In a judicial review application filed on April 1, Najib said an "addendum order" issued by the former king had accompanied a pardons board's decision in February to halve his 12-year jail sentence for graft in the multibillion-dollar 1MDB scandal. Najib had sought for the court to compel the government to reply to or confirm the existence of the royal order, which he said would entitle him to serve the remainder of his term under house arrest, and to execute the order if it existed.
