Love Island star Amber Davies has dismissed rumours she's been cast in Coronation Street.

The reality TV star and actress, currently taking part in Dancing on Ice with pro partner Simon Senecal, has taken to her Instagram Stories to shut down speculations she'll join the ITV soap.

In her Story, Davies said the rumours are "absolutely false", adding: "After DOI I will be back on tour with my wonderful [Pretty Woman The Musical] family."

The star plays protagonist Vivian Ward — the role that earned Julia Roberts a Golden Globe win and an Oscar nod in 1990 — in the West End stage adaptation.

In a follow-up Story, Davies also revealed she's a Ryan Reynolds fan, explaining that Dancing on Ice is filmed right next to the sound stage where Deadpool 3 is in production (though Hugh Jackman confirmed last week that filming on the threequel had wrapped).

"Always cross my fingers to spot Ryan Reynolds on the Deadpool 3 set," Davies captioned a short video, adding: "This is literally right next to our studios."

Last month, the Love Island season 3 winner announced she'd be the host of a new podcast aimed at the theatre community. Titled Your 5-Minute Call, the show will see Davies welcome "iconic West End" guests to chat everything theatre.

"I wanted to create a happy space where we can have good healthy conversations about the highs, lows, the good and the more challenging times when it comes to the industry we all live, breathe and adore," Davies wrote in the caption, explaining the concept of the podcast.

"We have the most iconic West End guests joining [side eye emoji] and I can't wait for us all to go on this journey together, the theatre community really is WHERE IT'S AT!!!"

Dancing on Ice airs on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
