The star has shared a first look at the new "family of four"

Former Made In Chelsea star Ashley James has announced the birth of her second child.

The TV presenter and GB News pundit shared a first look at her baby girl on Instagram with a photo of her daughter tightly grabbing hold of her finger.

James wrote: "Just wanted to let you know that our baby girl is here. We are both happy and healthy and we're all so in love.

"We're taking some time to enjoy this newborn bubble and connect as a family of 4. But I can't wait for you to meet her."

James's new arrival is the second child she has with boyfriend Tommy Andrews, following son Alfie, who was born in January 2021.

Alfie has seemingly taken to being a big brother well, with James later sharing a video of him on Instagram Stories putting a doll in a bouncy chair as the tot scrambles to look after the "baby".

The proud mum wrote alongside the video: "Taking big brother duties very seriously."

James has been tracking her pregnancy with her fans since first announcing the news in September.

This has included visits to baby scans, preparing the nursery, and even the moment her pregnancy test turned positive.

James's famous friends have been quick to share their delight in the happy news, celebrating in the comments section of the new arrival post.

Scarlett Moffatt, who is currently pregnant with her first child, wrote: "Sending you lots and lots of love xxxx."

Ollie Locke, who is expecting twins via surrogate with his husband Gareth, added: "Such massive congratulations angel! Can’t wait to meet her! Sending you all loads of love Xx."

Alexandra Burke shared: "My darling congratulations!!!!!!!!!! Sending you all so much love and light xxxx."

Others sharing their congratulations included Michelle Keegan, Celebs Go Dating's Anna Williamson, Louise Thompson and James Bye.
