MAFS Australia star Trisha Stratford dies, aged 72
Married at First Sight Australia expert and neuropsychotherapist Dr Trisha Stratford has died. She was 72.
Fellow MAFS expert John Aiken broke the news of Stratford's passing today (September 18) in an Instagram post, writing: "I'm heartbroken and devastated that my friend and dear colleague Trisha has passed away.
"We shared an amazing seven seasons of MAFS together. She loved everything New Zealand, relationships, the All Blacks, the Black Caps, French wine and travelling the world. I'll miss you Tish.
"Thank you for all the memories."

In an official statement, MAFS broadcaster Channel 9 added: "We are deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Dr Trisha Stratford.
"Our sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathies go out to her family and those closest during this difficult time."
Stratford had been part of the Australian edition of the show when it launched in 2015 alongside fellow experts John Aiken and Sabina Read, later working with Mel Schilling.
She later left the show at the end of season seven in 2020, with Alessandra Rampolla joining the team of experts.

Revealing her reasons for leaving the show, Stratford explained she had wanted to focus on her research work.
"After seven seasons of Married At First Sight I have decided to step back from the television series to focus on my writing, research and neuro-psychotherapy," she said in a statement back in 2020.
"The program provides a platform for an ongoing conversation on relationships, and I wish the program continued success and hope future participants find everlasting love."
Married at First Sight UK airs on E4 in the UK. Married at First Sight Australia airs on Nine Network in Australia and E4 in the UK.
