Married at First Sight Australia 2024 spoilers follow.

Married at First Sight Australia has aired the aftermath of Jack Dunkley's "whale" comments.

The personal trainer recently came under fire for saying "the whales are here today" while his co-stars Timothy Smith, Tristan Black and Jono McCullough were sat around the pool.

During tonight's (April 4) episode, Jack asked Tristan and Timothy to smooth things out. Jack insisted he made "a stupid comment" but continuously interrupted Tristan, who was trying to explain how the jab made him feel.

Jack said helping people feel good about their bodies makes him "wholesome" and he gifted Tristan a supplement gift card and a keyring with the words "You are enough" engraved on it.

While Tristan found the gesture sweet and hugged his co-star, Timothy called out Jack's behaviour with producers.

"I'm not buying it," Timothy said on camera later on, pointing out that Jack's speech didn't feel genuine.

His apology didn't go down well with experts Mel Schilling, John Aiken and Alessandra Rampolla either, as the trio watched on in disbelief.

At the table, Jack's co-stars looked less than impressed with him when he prompted Tristan to share the presents he'd received, with Lauren Dunn urging Jack's wife, Tori Adams, to "open [her] eyes".

Jack's ill-conceived apology wasn't the only dramatic incident at the dinner party as Eden Harper and Jayden Eynaud dropped a bombshell on Tim Calwell.

Eden put Tim's wife Sara Mesa on the spot, revealing Sara had met with her ex-boyfriend whilst in the experiment and had lied to Tim about it.

Cornered, Sara admitted to meeting her ex the previous weekend but insisted nothing happened between the two of them. Further quizzed by her co-stars, she shared she had slept with her ex a month before the experiment started — while he was in a relationship with someone else.
