Married at First Sight Australia couple Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant have shared a wonderful reunion with the show's matchmaker Mel Schilling.

The pair was one of only two couples to have stayed together after their series aired in 2019, and they've since had a son called Oliver. Their love story also continues to resonate with fans of the show.

Now, four years on from their MAFS AU experience, Jules and Cameron have caught up with the matchmaker who helped put them together.

On her Instagram account, Mel has shared some lovely photos from a "gorgeous lunch" with the couple, writing: "It's so inspiring to see how they have built their love story, family and business empire … all from the seed planted by @mafs."

The matchmaker also shared a "fun fact" about one of the conditions Jules had before coming on the show — and how meeting Cameron changed everything for her.

"When I first met Jules, she was adamant that *height* was a deal-breaker for her - that is, she’d only date guys who were taller than her - fast forward to MAFS + real life … now she’s all loved up with Cam who is shorter then her #loveislove," Mel recalled.

Cam was prompt in the replies with a slight correction: "Fun fact.. I am actually one centimetre taller than Jules just to confirm."

Juled later chimed in to confirm that she and Cam are indeed "the same height", though she thanked Mel and her social media followers for "all the love".

Cameron previously made headlines for an interview where he discussed some of his troubles earlier in life. The former first-class cricketer explained on the Not an Overnight Success podcast that he went through a period of addiction and homelessness when his sports career ended.

The reality star credited rehab with changing his life for the better, recalling: "I remember sitting in a hospital bed, in mental rehab, and I remember thinking the only thing that was going to keep me going was that I hadn't been married yet, and I hadn't had kids.

"It's something you've always strived for. Don't give up now."

Several years later, Cameron has seemingly got his fairytale ending with a happy marriage and young son.
