Married at First Sight Australia star Olivia Frazer has announced that she has suffered a devastating double death in her family.

The star appeared in the ninth season of the reality show last year, being coupled up with Jackson Lonie during the experiment.

Frazer revealed yesterday (September 2) via Instagram that she had suffered two deaths in the family over recent days, with her grandmother and great uncle passing away within two days of each other.

“Our beautiful twins Jack & Jill. Nanna and Uncle Jack came into the world together and left peacefully together less than two days apart this week,” she wrote, accompanying a photo of the twins when they were younger. “Both so kind and gentle. And both huge parts of my life. Twinning until the end.”

Frazer subsequently posted a tribute to her grandmother via her Instagram story, writing (via Daily Mail): “You couldn’t write this stuff. My beautiful Nanna, Jill, has followed her brother, Jack, to the other side within only two days.

“The ‘twin thing’ was a reoccurrence through their whole lives, so it seems fitting here. My beautiful nanna was an extremely kind, intelligent, and gentle woman. She never had a bad word to say about anyone.

“She carried herself as gracefully as she could throughout her life and she had tremendous love for our family. It was a privilege being her granddaughter and our whole family is going to miss her so much,” she added.

Frazer separated from Lonie following their time on MAFS, and recently revealed that she had been “scammed” after moving to Scotland only to find out her new boyfriend was already in a relationship.

“I feel like I've been completely scammed and made a fool out of,” she said. “We spoke almost every day, he told me he wanted me to meet his son once I got to Scotland and made me feel so wanted – but it was all lies.”
