MAFS star Melinda reveals truth behind feud rumours and "awkward" Evelyn moment
Married at First Sight Australia's Melinda Willis has addressed reports of a feud between her and co-star Evelyn Ellis.
Responding to a tabloid report which claimed the two refused to pose for photos together at a Logie Awards nominations breakfast, Melinda admitted things were "awkward" at the event.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Thursday (June 22), Melinda said (via Yahoo News): "So there was an article that came out, it was about the breakfast nominations for the Logies and it was saying like, 'Brides at war! Besties Mel and Ev are no longer friends'.

"That's not entirely true."
Melinda went on to say that she's been doing a lot of interviews recently and feels like many things, "have been taken out of context."
"It's just the media, but sometimes you can take it to heart and you can believe it all, and I feel like that's kind of what happened," she added.
Melinda denied rumours that she and Evelyn are no longer friends, but she did confirm that they has a "really awkward" encounter at the event.

"When I went over to say hi and hug Ev at the event, she didn't give me a hug," Melinda explained.
"So I was really awkward and taken back, I went into the corner where Tahnee, Ollie and Layton were and I stayed over there. Channel Nine was interviewing and taking photos anyway over there.
"I spoke to Ev later on and she said that she thought it was me that wasn’t going to give her the hug, so she was also awkward. So everything’s ok, it’s just, yeah."
Melinda had previously referred to Evelyn as her "bestie", while admitting there was "quite a divide still" between her and Claire Nomarhas.
