MAFS star reflects on "horrific body shaming" after reunion episode
Married at First Sight UK star Amy Christophers was subjected to "horrific" comments about her body in the wake of the 2022 reunion episode.
In it, she and Johnathan Wileman (who'd been paired up with Josh Christie and Sophie Brown during their time on the show) enjoyed a cheeky kiss, having separated from their husband and wife.
However, Sophie and co-star Adrian Sanderson's subsequent Instagram Live video inadvertently brought with it some unwanted attention.

Describing this to The Sun as an "unprovoked attack", Amy elaborated: "It wasn't pleasant to watch. Sophie and Adrian didn't read out the comments, but [people watching] said things like, 'She's bigger than you, I thought Johnathan didn't like bigger girls'.
"They were sniggering and agreeing... Adrian was laughing and said some [comments] were so bad that he couldn't read them out loud.
"I think it was a really low blow from Sophie and for someone that likes to think they promote body positivity, it was clear as day she was not doing that."

According to Amy, who's confessed to regretting many aspects of her MAFS experience, trolls were soon targeting her own social media pictures.
"Comments like that make you question yourself and knock you for six. I had to work really hard to get my body confidence back," she said.
"I'm curvy and unfortunately, not a lot of clothes are flattering towards women with big boobs and big bums, they can make you look bigger. As a society, we need to stop making comments about size."
