Maharashtra schools to reopen from Oct 04: State School Education Minister

Mumbai, Sep 24 (ANI): Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad announced that the schools in Maharashtra will reopen from October 04. She said, “Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has approved this, the task force and Health Department have also approved the decision of reopening schools in the state”. She further added, “In rural areas, classes will resume from standard 5 to 12 and in urban areas from standard 8 to 12. Government is making efforts to bring back children to schools. Local authorities have been given powers”.
