SINGAPORE — A 26-year-old man was charged on Tuesday (1 October) with illegally taking videos of at least four women at Yale-NUS College, according to a report by CNA.
Brandon Lee Bing Xiang, a Singaporean, allegedly committed the offences in a shower cubicle or a classroom at the liberal arts college between August 2017 and March this year, the report said, citing the charge sheets.
He is facing 24 counts of intruding on a woman's privacy to insult her modesty.
Of these, 21 charges allege that he placed his mobile phone above a cubicle door at Yale-NUS and filmed the victims while they were taking a shower. The remaining three state that he took upskirt videos of a woman in a classroom.
Lee’s case will be mentioned again in court on 22 October.
If found guilty of each count, he faces a maximum one year jail term, a fine, or both.
