A 53-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly being involved in vandalism along Saint Andrew’s Road.

The police received a report last month that graffiti were found on the glass panel of a building along Saint Andrew’s Road.

The man was arrested on Thursday (3 May) and will be charged in court on Friday.

He is believed to be involved in other similar cases where graffiti were found on vehicles in Mountbatten and Tanjong Katong. He is also suspected to be involved in the theft of bicycle reported in March 2017 in Marine Parade.

Anyone who is convicted of vandalism faces a jail term of up to three years or a maximum fine of $2,000, and caning of between three strokes and eight strokes.
