Man charged with mischief after several vehicles damaged in Kitchener
A 26-year-old man faces mischief charges after police responded to reports of rocks and concrete being thrown at vehicles in Kitchener Wednesday morning.
The Waterloo Regional Police Service says officers responded to the area of the Boardwalk and Ira Needles Boulevard just before 9 a.m.
"The male was seen throwing rocks and pieces of concrete at vehicles. Several vehicles sustained major damage as a result," police said in a release.
The suspect was located in a nearby business.
A 26-year-old man has been charged with seven counts of mischief under $5,000.
Police say the investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
