Man charged with murder of 93-year-old
A man has been charged with murder following the death of a 93-year-old man.
Gary Moore, 64, of Mill Lane, Hambrook, South Gloucestershire, is set to appear at Bristol Crown Court on Monday.
Emergency services were called to a home in Mill Lane at about 9:55 BST on Saturday, where a man was found dead at the scene.
Det Insp Deb Hatch, of Avon and Somerset Police's major crime team said the victim had not been formally identified but was believed to be Robert Moore, who was commonly known as Bob.
Det Insp Hatch added: "Specially-trained officers will continue to support and update Bob’s family and all our thoughts are with them at this very upsetting time for them.”
Mr Moore was arrested shortly after the man was found and taken into custody, where he has been remanded ahead of his court appearance.
