Man City XI vs Real Madrid: No De Bruyne - Starting lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest today

Manchester City drop Kevin De Bruyne to the bench for today’s Champions League meeting with Real Madrid.

Josko Gvardiol was taken off at half-time of Saturday’s win over Crystal Palace but makes the game and starts at left-back.

Kyle Walker trained alone on Monday and did not travel with his team-mates with Spain, staying behind with Ake.

Phil Foden and Bernardo Silva were rested for the win at Palace and are likely to be recalled. De Bruyne is once again fit and firing but sits out. Jack Grealish is also a favourite of Guardiola’s and starts in Spain.
