Man United XI vs Bournemouth: No Rashford - Starting lineup, confirmed team new, injury latest for game today

Marcus Rashford does not travel with the Manchester United squad who play Bournemouth today.

United’s top scorer was absent last weekend for the win over Wolves and, despite returning to training this week, is now battling illness and is once again absent at the Vitality Stadium.

However, there is better news for United, with Raphael Varane fully fit and available and Scott McTominay back in first-team training having missed the last six weeks with injury.

“So a positive, Varane definitely available,” Erik ten Hag said on Friday.

“Scott joined in training, when we find training will go well he will be in.”

Otherwise there are no major surprises expected in the United lineup, as they look to take another step towards securing a top-four finish. Aaron Wan-Bissaka gets the nod over Diogo Dalot at right-back again, while Anthony Martial keeps his place up front.

Marcel Sabitzer, Lisandro Martinez and Donny van de Beek all remain out and will not return before the end of the season.

Starting Man United XI: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Lindelof, Shaw; Casemiro, Eriksen; Antony, Fernandes, Sancho; Martial (4-2-3-1)
