There Are So Many Netflix Stars Competing in 'Dancing With the Stars' Season 29

This fall, more celebrities and professional dancers will chase the coveted Mirrorball trophy when Dancing With the Stars returns to ABC.

The long-running competition show will grace our TV screens once again for the 29th (!) time since first premiering in June 2005. So far, it sounds like you can expect all of your favorite judges — Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli — to come back. That said, there will be some major changes ahead for the dancing show.

Here's what to know about the new season of Dancing With the Stars in the fall of 2020:

When is the Dancing With the Stars season 29 start date?

Soon! The new season of Dancing With the Stars will premiere Monday, September 14, 2020 on ABC. While there's a chance that the ongoing coronavirus pandemic may cut the season short, the dance show usually runs from the middle of September through late November. We'll be sure to update this post if that changes!

Who are the Dancing With the Stars 2020 pro cast members?

On Good Morning America, it was revealed that the following pro dancers will be gracing the ballroom in season 29:

In addition to the dancers listed above, Good Morning America most recently confirmed that Artem Chigvintsev is also set to compete in season 29. This upcoming fall will mark Artem's ninth time on the show.

Who will host Dancing With the Stars in 2020?

Shockingly, not Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews. Tom shared the surprising news on Twitter: "Just informed @DancingABC will be continuing without me. It's been an incredible 15 year run and the most unexpected gift of my career. I'm grateful for that and for the lifelong friendships made. That said, now what am I supposed to do with all of these glitter masks?"

A statement from ABC and BBC released to Fox News confirmed that Erin would also not be returning. Erin had served as a co-host since 2014, while Tom had been working on Dancing With the Stars since the show's debut in 2005.

While it's definitely a bummer to see Tom and Erin go, we're excited to share that the show has already found its next host ... Tyra Banks! "Please join us in welcoming @tyrabanks as #DWTS host. Thank you to @Tom_Bergeron and @ErinAndrews for so many seasons of glitz, glamour, and good times!" the show's social media announcement read.

Tyra will also be an executive producer on the show.

"I've been a fan of DWTS since its beginning ... The fun mixed with raw emotion, seeing celebrities push past their comfort zones, the sizzling dance performances ... it's always transported me to my days of turning it up 10 notches on the catwalk," Tyra said in a news release obtained by CNN.

Dancing With the Stars will air Monday nights live on ABC from 8 to 10 p.m. ET.
