In PEOPLE's exclusive sneak peek at this week’s 'Married at First Sight', Orion tells their friends that he wants to "open up a different narrative" with Lauren after their marriage struggles

Married at First Sight’s Lauren is over keeping up appearances.

In PEOPLE's exclusive sneak peek at Wednesday's episode of the Lifetime series, Orion tells their costars that he and Lauren are turning over a new leaf in their relationship.

“I know that Lauren and I aren't at the same level as other couples, other people,” he explains. “But, with that being said, ultimately yeah, I feel very proud about where we both are at.”

He adds: “But, I am looking to really to kinda just turn the page on everything that's happened and honestly really try and open up a different narrative.”

However, Lauren isn’t buying his new attitude and believes he isn’t being genuine in what he is saying.

“I don't want to have a conversation with him because I'm just tired of getting my hopes up with conversations with Orion,” he shares. “When he brings things up in group settings, it doesn't seem authentic. It doesn't seem real. It feels like it's more to save face in front of our friends.”

Orion previously called for a divorce during a therapy session after revealing that he no longer wanted to be with Lauren following their disagreements about intimacy.

“It's just with everything that happened, everything that took place, I lost all romantic interest,” he admitted before Lauren addressed her role in their marriage struggles.

“I feel so horrible that I've put you in the predicament to lose romantic attraction to me because through this, I have maintained my romantic attraction to you," she confessed. "But if you don't feel like you have it in you to do it, I don't want to twist your arm. I don't want to force you to stay with me.”
