Marvel star Jonathan Majors has been accused of further incidents of abuse in an article published by Rolling Stone.

The actor, known for playing Kang the Conqueror in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, is standing trial this August after being arrested and charged for assault and aggravated harassment following an alleged incident with an ex-partner in March 2023.

Majors maintains his innocence, with a statement shared by his lawyers stating they are "confident that he will be fully exonerated".

Now, Rolling Stone claims the Creed III actor has "a pattern of alleged physical, mental, and emotional abuse that dates back a decade". The outlet embarked on a three-month investigation into the star, speaking to over 40 people known to Majors during the last 10 years.

"Many describe Majors as being a complicated, unpredictable, and sometimes violent man, who can switch from charming to cold in a flash," the report reads.

In a statement to Rolling Stone, Majors' attorney Dustin A. Pusch says the actor "vehemently denies" these new allegations, claiming they are "false" and "based entirely on hearsay".

A "dozen sources" accuse Majors of being abusive in two romantic relationships, with one source claiming that with one partner he demonstrated "really extreme abuse, physically and mentally". The same source alleges this abuse escalated at one point to Majors "strangling" the woman he was dating.

Another woman who was in a relationship with Majors likened the experience to "emotional torture" to another source. Whilst she told friends that Majors was never physically abusive with her, the actor would "get filled with rage" with Majors telling her he "needed to hit something or punch a wall or something of that nature".

"Jonathan Majors vehemently denies Rolling Stone’s false allegations that he physically, verbally, or emotionally abused anyone, let alone any of his past romantic partners," reads a statement from his attorney, Dustin A. Pusch. "These allegations are based entirely on hearsay because neither of the romantic partners referenced were willing to engage with Rolling Stone for the article—demonstrating their outright falsity".

When asked for comment from the publication, Majors' legal team sent over six character witness statements from women who previously dated the star. In a statement, Pusch added these statements attested "to his character and the falsity of the charges, but Rolling Stone purposefully ignored those facts and red flags and published the false charges anyway".

The publication goes on to state that they reached out to all six people who provided the character witness statements. "Three say they never gave Majors' team permission to release such statements," they write. "Another woman declined to share the statement credited to her by Majors' team, saying it was pre-written, not truthful, and that she had never approved of its release."

Another woman declined to comment, whilst one of the six consented to making her statement public. Haley Carter, who dated Majors between the ages of 13 and 18, said in her statement: "He did not do these things. He is exactly the opposite of what these allegations say. Jonathan is the most self-controlled, disciplined, well-mannered person I know. We all call him 'the peacekeeper'. He is not violent in any way."

Rolling Stone claims that multiple sources also allege Majors was "aggressive at work". Two production sources, present on the set of upcoming movie Magazine Dreams, claimed the Marvel star "pushed one person while on set and physically intimidated another while screaming at them".

Formal complaints were made to producers, but when contacted by Rolling Stone, a production source claimed that only one complaint was raised with producers and disputed that the person was physically intimidated.

"The allegations that Mr. Majors got physical with or physically intimidated anyone on any movie set are downright false," Majors' attorney Pusch said in a statement to Rolling Stone. "Everyone who has worked with Mr. Majors knows that he employs an immersive method acting style, and while that can be misconstrued as rudeness at times, those who know Mr. Majors and work in the industry have attested to his dedication to his craft as well as his kindness."

Pusch added that Majors "also denies any allegations of abuse, violence, or intimidation during his time at Yale". A Yale alumni recounted to Rolling Stone "very problematic" behaviour from Majors, who graduated from Yale School of Drama with a Master's degree in 2016.

Following Majors' assault charge in March, the star was dropped by his management team. Deadline reported in April that the actor was also let go from from an upcoming adaptation of the Walter Mosley novel The Man in My Basement and an unannounced Otis Redding biopic.
