Chris Evans has shared a glimpse of married life and his recent wedding to Alba Baptista.

The Captain America star attended New York Comic-Con this past weekend, opening up on tying the knot with the Warrior Nun star. The couple were first reported to be dating in 2022, with a source claiming at that time that they'd been seeing each other for around a year.

Evans and Baptista said "I do" in front of their loved ones in two private ceremonies in September, one held in Portugal and the other in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Evans described their two big days as "wonderful and beautiful," getting candid about the stress of planning for the wedding (via People).

"It's a lot planning a wedding. For those of you who are married you know it takes a lot out of you," the actor told fans at the event.

"But now that we're through that, we've just been enjoying life, gearing up for autumn, my favourite season. Now we're just relaxing and enjoying life and reflecting."

Saturday's (October 14) NYCC panel was the first instance in which Evans publicly acknowledged his wedding, opening up about life as a newlywed and officially confirming reports of the couple's marriage that first circulated last month.

Recently, Evans got honest about one of his more recent professional projects, admitting it didn't pan out as they'd hoped.

The Marvel star admitted his action rom-com Ghosted also starring Ana de Armas "could have been better" after it received scathing reviews.

"Critics didn't like it," he told GQ. "But that's more the fault of the movie as opposed to the appetite of the audience [for a certain genre].

"I think the appetite's there, if it's done properly. We could have been better."
