Marvel star Jeremy Renner has shared a positive update on his road to recovery following his snowplow accident on New Year's Day.

Renner, who plays Hawkeye (AKA Clint Barton) in the MCU, posted a video of himself to Instagram on Saturday. The video consisted of several clips of Renner using a Zimmer frame to help him walk as he continued his rehabilitation following the tragic accident.

In the caption, Renner wrote: "My PT made this for reference and to remember, you cannot walk unless you take one step at a time! #onefootinfrontoftheother."

This update came two days after the Oscar-nominated actor posted another update documenting his recovery process after he shattered his tibia in the snowplow incident.

This update showed Renner using straps connected to a machine to help him with his leg muscles and his mobility.

"UPDATE: I’ve decided to push through the pain of progress(this damn shattered tibia) and take the new parts for a tiny test drive," Renner wrote in his caption.

"The body is miraculous…. Even though I feel like the Tin Man, needing oil for all my new joints (hips, knees, ankles, tibia etc ) . Encouraged after this warm up to press on ( don’t tell my PT)."

Renner suffered the accident on New Year's Day. The incident occurred at the actor's home near Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe in Nevada after the region had been hit by a storm over the New Year weekend.

He was the only person involved in the accident. He later returned home in late January. He then opened up about the accident in an interview, saying that he had no regrets about jumping in front of the snowplow to save his nephew while he also said he told his family he was "sorry" in sign language while he was in hospital.
