The Masked Dancer has unmasked its first contestant of season two, with Astronaut revealed to be Jesse Metcalfe.
Desperate Housewives actor Metcalfe went up against Candlestick and Pillar and Post after placing in the bottom three, with judges opting to save the other two contestants.
Metcalfe revealed his clues related to being in Smallville and that a cheese clue was about Desperate Housewives character Bree Van de Kamp.
He said: "Dancing is a fear I wanted to face. It's been one of the zaniest things I've ever done."
He added: "I actually loved my costume, but besides it being incredibly hot to dance in, my visibility wasn’t great. Truthfully, I could hardly see, so I was relieved when I could finally remove the mask!"
ITV aired the series opener of The Masked Dancer season two with half of the mystery contestants taking part and the other six scheduled to dance next Saturday.
Candlestick went up against Scissors, Astronaut against Odd Socks, and Prawn Cocktail against duo Pillar and Post, with the act getting the least studio audience votes in each battle at risk of elimination.
The show also features a new addition to the judging panel as former footballer Peter Crouch, known for doing the robot dance, is filling in for Mo Gilligan for the series.

He joins Davina McCall, Oti Mabuse and Jonathan Ross who have all returned to the panel and had plenty of guesses of their own.
Guesses for the identities of the other contestants who have danced so far included Kimberly Wyatt or Ashley Roberts for Scissors, Maisie Smith for Odd Socks, and Judge Rob Rinder as Candlestick.
Others thought Pillar and Post, the contest's first duo, could be Rochelle and Marvin Humes or Frankie Poultney and David Seaman.
Tomato Sauce, Pig, Pearly King, Onomatopoeia, Cactus and Sea Slug are all set to dance for the first time next weekend.
